Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer (Flutter/Native) with a strong background in UI/UX design to join our innovative and fast-growing remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter, Android (Kotlin/Java), or iOS (Swift) frameworks.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fully functional applications with a strong emphasis on usability.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and responsiveness across various devices.

• Implement and maintain API integrations with backend services.

• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation through proper documentation, testing, and version control.

• Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Stay updated on the latest mobile development trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks or technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Flutter, Android (Kotlin/Java), or iOS (Swift) mobile development.

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, Material Design, and Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

• Solid grasp of state management, responsive layouts, and adaptive design techniques.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in mobile application development (Flutter/Native).

• Prior experience in designing and deploying mobile apps available on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

• Demonstrated portfolio of apps or UI/UX design projects is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible Remote Schedule: 8-hour workday aligned with team coordination hours (typically between 9 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Friday).

• Occasional weekend or after-hours support may be required during app launches or critical updates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of mobile UI/UX frameworks, design systems, and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to balance functionality with design elegance and usability.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
