Job Summary
CarePoint Org is seeking a motivated and highly organized Volunteer Manager to oversee, engage, and grow our volunteer community. This role is vital to the successful execution of our programs, ensuring that volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, and supported while contributing meaningfully to our mission. Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a diverse team of volunteers for various projects and initiatives.
- Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to increase retention and satisfaction.
- Create schedules, assign tasks, and monitor volunteer performance to ensure program goals are met.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, track hours, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate virtual training sessions, workshops, and events for volunteers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing queries, feedback, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs and support program planning.
- Develop recognition and reward initiatives to motivate volunteers and acknowledge their contributions.
- Support fundraising and community outreach efforts through volunteer engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in volunteer management, community engagement, or nonprofit administration.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for virtual collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and volunteer management platforms.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve problems in a remote setting.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience managing volunteers or community programs, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Experience in remote team management and virtual engagement is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.
Working Hours
- Full-time or part-time positions available.
