Job Summary:

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Payroll Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in accuracy, confidentiality, and time-sensitive tasks related to payroll processing. As a key member of our HR and finance support team, you will ensure timely and accurate payroll operations, assist in maintaining employee records, and provide exceptional support to both internal teams and external stakeholders—all from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

  • Verify timesheets, attendance records, overtime, deductions, and bonuses for accuracy.

  • Assist in preparing payroll reports, summaries, and analyses for management review.

  • Maintain and update confidential employee payroll records in digital systems.

  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, and other payroll-related issues.

  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies or payroll-related concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Support periodic audits and assist in reconciling payroll accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).

  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing, HR support, or finance administration is preferred.

  • Experience working in remote or virtual team environments is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible work hours may be offered to accommodate different time zones.

  • Remote work from home setup.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to detect payroll discrepancies.
