Cigna is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives to join our growing healthcare support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with prescription inquiries, medication orders, insurance coverage, billing, and related pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls, chats, and emails regarding pharmacy-related inquiries.

  • Assist customers with prescription refills, medication orders, prior authorizations, and benefit coverage.

  • Resolve issues related to billing, payments, and claim discrepancies with accuracy.

  • Provide guidance on mail-order pharmacy services, delivery timelines, and medication status.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacists, and insurance teams to ensure seamless service.

  • Document interactions and maintain compliance with HIPAA and Cigna’s quality standards.

  • Escalate complex cases to specialized teams as needed while ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service to promote customer satisfaction and trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with active listening abilities.

  • Proficiency in handling customer queries with empathy and professionalism.

  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy services, medical terminology, and insurance processes preferred.

  • Competency in using computer systems, CRM software, and multitasking across multiple platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance.

  • Prior experience in a call center or remote support environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling.

  • Rotational shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operations.
