Job Summary

TechCheck Media is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Technical Content Reviewer to ensure all published materials meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and technical relevance. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and refining technical articles, guides, reports, product reviews, and other digital content across various technology domains. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional written communication abilities, and a passion for improving content quality for global tech audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate technical content for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.

• Ensure all materials meet editorial guidelines, brand standards, and SEO best practices.

• Fact-check technical claims, performance data, and product specifications.

• Edit and refine content for grammar, structure, readability, and logical flow.

• Collaborate with writers, editors, and subject-matter experts to maintain consistency and correctness.

• Provide detailed feedback to improve writer performance and content quality.

• Identify outdated, incomplete, or redundant information and recommend updates.

• Verify compliance with company tone, voice, and formatting guidelines.

• Assist in developing and improving content review processes and quality standards.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong command of written English with excellent editing and proofreading abilities.

• Deep understanding of technology topics such as software, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, and consumer electronics.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to review complex technical information and simplify it for clarity.

• Familiarity with content management systems and online collaboration tools.

• Solid understanding of SEO principles and online publishing practices.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in technical writing, technical reviewing, editing, or similar roles.

• Experience reviewing or producing content for digital media platforms is preferred.

• Background working with tech publications, software companies, or IT service providers is a plus.

Working Hours

• Remote, flexible working schedule.

• Expected availability for 20–40 hours per week depending on project load.

• Must meet content review deadlines consistently.
