Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Remote Technical Support Analyst (Part-Time) to provide high-quality technical assistance to our clients. In this role, you will troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues, guide users through solutions, and ensure seamless technical operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Assist users with system configuration, connectivity issues, and account access.

  • Escalate complex technical inquiries to senior support teams when necessary.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and steps taken using internal ticketing systems.

  • Monitor system performance alerts and respond proactively to downtime or technical interruptions.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while delivering clear, concise guidance to non-technical users.

  • Support system updates, installations, and routine maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes and user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, and basic networking concepts.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and common productivity tools.

  • Ability to explain technical information in a simple, user-friendly manner.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira) is preferred.

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote workspace.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or related roles (part-time or full-time).

  • Experience supporting remote teams or customers is a plus.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or related credentials are advantageous but not required.

Working Hours

  • Part-time position: 15–25 hours per week.

  • Flexible schedule with availability required during peak support hours.

  • May require occasional weekend or evening availability based on support demand.
