Job Summary
TechPro Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Remote Technical Support Engineer to join our IT Helpdesk team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide remote assistance to clients, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to incoming support requests via chat, email, or phone.

Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related problems.

Provide step-by-step technical guidance to end-users to resolve issues.

Escalate complex problems to higher-level support or engineering teams when required.

Maintain detailed documentation of issues and solutions in the ticketing system.

Assist in system updates, installations, and configuration of IT software and hardware.

Ensure timely resolution of all technical queries while adhering to service-level agreements (SLAs).

Provide proactive IT support by monitoring system performance and identifying potential risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware, networking, and software applications.

Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Freshdesk).

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first approach.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience

1–3 years of experience in IT helpdesk, technical support, or a similar role.
