Hospital Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Remote Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for hospital systems, applications, and hardware via phone, email, or chat.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, operating systems, and network connectivity.

Escalate complex cases to higher-level IT teams when necessary.

Log, track, and manage support requests in the ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.

Guide healthcare staff in using hospital IT systems effectively and securely.

Perform system checks and updates during off-peak hours.

Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions for future reference.

Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing queries with patience and clarity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking basics, and common software applications.

Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely.

Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.

Working Hours

Evening shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (local time).

Overnight shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (local time).

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a rotation basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS), EMR/EHR platforms, and secure data practices is highly desirable.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple support tickets effectively.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
