Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Remote Video Editor to join our fast-growing YouTube Creator Agency. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-performing video content tailored for YouTube and other digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with content strategists, producers, and creators to deliver visually compelling videos that align with brand identity, storytelling goals, and audience engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube channels, including vlogs, tutorials, interviews, podcasts, and promotional videos.

• Apply creative storytelling techniques, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual enhancements to improve viewer engagement.

• Optimize videos for YouTube standards, including formatting, resolution, aspect ratios, and pacing.

• Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to understand creative briefs and deliver according to brand guidelines.

• Add captions, subtitles, thumbnails, and basic animations when required.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure all content is consistent with quality standards and copyright regulations.

• Stay updated with current YouTube trends, editing styles, and audience preferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation (After Effects or equivalent is a plus).

• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.

• Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.

• High attention to detail and creative problem-solving mindset.

Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube, digital media agencies, or online creators.

• Portfolio or sample work demonstrating editing skills and creative style.

• Experience working with content creators, influencers, or digital marketing teams is an advantage.
