Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Data Analyst – Remote (Offshore Focus) to support our global renewable energy initiatives. This role is designed for professionals passionate about sustainability and data-driven decision-making, with a strong interest in offshore renewable energy projects such as offshore wind, tidal, and floating solar.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to renewable energy production, performance, forecasting, and environmental impact. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver actionable insights that optimize offshore energy assets and support strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets related to offshore renewable energy projects.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track energy performance, efficiency, and KPIs.
- Perform trend analysis and predictive modeling for energy generation and operational performance.
- Support offshore wind and marine energy projects with data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to identify optimization opportunities.
- Monitor real-time and historical energy production data.
- Conduct statistical analysis and scenario modeling for forecasting.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, and Power BI/Tableau.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems, especially offshore wind and marine energy.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the energy or sustainability sector.
- Hands-on experience with renewable energy datasets or industrial data is highly desirable.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.
- Exposure to offshore energy projects (wind, tidal, floating solar) is an advantage.
