Job Summary

SecureMalls Inc., a leading provider of professional security services, is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Residential Community Gate Security Officer to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for the community, ensuring that access protocols are strictly followed while delivering courteous and professional interactions. This role requires alertness, reliability, and a commitment to resident safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access at residential community gates to ensure only authorized individuals enter.

• Verify identification and credentials of residents, visitors, and service personnel.

• Conduct regular patrols of entry points and surrounding areas to identify and report suspicious activity.

• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor entries.

• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, or security breaches.

• Communicate clearly with residents, staff, and management regarding security concerns.

• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

• Ensure adherence to community policies and safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or public security preferred.

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting activities.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in security, preferably in residential or gated communities.

• Experience with security systems, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time shifts available, including day, evening, and night rotations.

• Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of safety and security procedures, access control, and emergency response.

• Ability to enforce rules tactfully and maintain professional conduct at all times.

• Physical fitness to perform routine patrols and respond to emergencies.
