UrbanWear Retail is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in our clothing and accessories store. The ideal candidate will provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers, assisting with product selection, offering fashion advice, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fashion, retail, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

  • Provide expert guidance on clothing and accessories, helping customers make informed purchase decisions.

  • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, including merchandise displays, signage, and stock organization.

  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.

  • Support inventory management by receiving, unpacking, and restocking merchandise.

  • Assist in achieving sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and store events as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Retail Management, Fashion, or related field is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.

  • Basic understanding of fashion trends, clothing, and accessory products.

  • Numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash management.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience in fashion retail or luxury accessories is a strong advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time or part-time positions available.

  • Flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by store operations.
