Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Chain Planner to support our global manufacturing operations in a fully remote environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products, and information across the supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for demand planning, inventory optimization, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective production and delivery.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will act as a strategic partner to operations, procurement, and production teams, leveraging data-driven insights to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce supply risks, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand and supply plans to support manufacturing schedules.

• Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends to optimize inventory levels.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to align supply strategies.

• Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage supply risks and disruptions.

• Create and maintain production planning models and capacity plans.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead time improvement, and process optimization.

• Track key supply chain KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing operations.

• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning activities and data accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or manufacturing operations.

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Experience supporting global or multi-site supply chains is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in a remote or distributed work setting is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time role (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with core overlap aligned to business operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, forecasting methods, and inventory management.

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
