Job Summary

Pharmacy Technician is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Telehealth Administrative Support Specialist to support our remote clinical and patient-care operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating virtual appointments, managing electronic medical records, supporting telehealth workflows, responding to patient inquiries, and ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule telehealth appointments for patients and healthcare providers.

  • Manage patient communications through phone, email, and secure messaging platforms.

  • Maintain and update patient records in electronic medical systems (EMR/EHR).

  • Verify patient information, documentation, insurance details, and required forms before appointments.

  • Support telehealth providers with daily administrative tasks and follow-up requirements.

  • Monitor appointment queues and ensure timely service delivery.

  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

  • Prepare administrative reports, logs, and documentation as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline telehealth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Basic understanding of telehealth platforms and EMR systems.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.

  • Customer service–focused mindset with patience and empathy.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, medical office administration, or a similar role.

  • Previous healthcare or telehealth experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote schedule based on business needs.

  • May include occasional weekend or evening shifts depending on patient demand.
