Job Summary

C-DAC is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Trainee Project Engineer to join our Industrial Infrastructure team. The role focuses on supporting the planning, execution, and maintenance of critical industrial infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects meet quality standards, timelines, and organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, planning, and execution of industrial infrastructure projects, including electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.

  • Support senior engineers in project monitoring, reporting, and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and troubleshooting activities for ongoing projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and efficient resource utilization.

  • Maintain and update project records, technical specifications, and documentation for internal and client use.

  • Support procurement and inventory management of materials and equipment required for infrastructure projects.

  • Provide technical input during project review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Basic knowledge of industrial infrastructure systems, including HVAC, power distribution, plumbing, and facility management.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent project management and design tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant internship or project experience in industrial infrastructure or related fields.

  • Exposure to industrial projects, site work, or engineering consultancy is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.

  • Standard office hours with flexibility for site visits or project-related work as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction standards, and safety regulations.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
