The Translator will be responsible for delivering high-quality translations that maintain the original meaning, tone, and intent across various digital, technical, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written content from English into assigned regional languages and vice versa with high linguistic accuracy.

• Localize content to ensure cultural relevance and contextual appropriateness.

• Review and proofread translated materials for grammar, style, clarity, and consistency.

• Collaborate with project managers, editors, and subject matter experts to meet project objectives.

• Maintain terminology databases and translation memories for consistency.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.

• Adapt tone and style according to the target audience and content type.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in at least one regional language (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi, or other regional languages).

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and linguistic nuances.

• Proficiency in translation tools (CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, or similar).

• High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of professional experience in translation or localization.

• Experience translating content in domains such as IT, e-learning, healthcare, legal, finance, or marketing is preferred.

• Freelance or agency experience is an added advantage.

Working Hours
