Job Summary

SecureMalls Inc., a leader in professional security services, is seeking vigilant and dedicated Transportation Hub Security Agents to ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, and assets at major transportation hubs. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe and orderly environment by proactively preventing security breaches, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents efficiently. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent observation skills, calmness under pressure, and a strong commitment to public safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor transportation facilities including bus terminals, train stations, and airports to detect and prevent suspicious activity.

• Enforce security protocols, rules, and regulations for passengers, employees, and contractors.

• Conduct thorough inspections of luggage, vehicles, and personnel as per security guidelines.

• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, security incidents, and safety threats.

• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, logs, and documentation.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and internal security teams when necessary.

• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to detect and assess risks.

• Assist passengers and staff with directions, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.

• Participate in regular training exercises to remain updated on safety standards, crisis response, and security best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security certifications preferred.

• Strong knowledge of security procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response.

• Excellent observation and situational awareness skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and make sound decisions.

• Basic proficiency in technology used for surveillance and reporting.

• Physical fitness and stamina to patrol large areas and respond quickly to incidents.

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or public safety roles is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in transportation hubs or public facilities is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time positions available; shift schedules may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts is required to cover 24/7 operations.

• Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency procedures, and first aid protocols.

• Skilled in conflict resolution, crowd management, and de-escalation techniques.
