Job Summary

NewsPixel Agency is looking for a talented UI/UX Web Developer to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces for our media and news portal. You will ensure seamless navigation, responsive design, and engaging user experiences that reflect the dynamic nature of online journalism. This position requires a strong blend of creative design skills, front-end development expertise, and a deep understanding of user-centric design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for the news portal.

• Collaborate with content creators, editors, and developers to translate business needs into functional designs.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to optimize website functionality and layout.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate ideas effectively.

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components to ensure brand consistency.

• Optimize website performance for speed, accessibility, and cross-device compatibility.

• Stay updated with design trends, front-end frameworks, and best practices in UI/UX development.

• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues to ensure smooth user experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field.

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Front-End Developer, or similar role.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.

• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO-friendly design practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in UI/UX development, preferably within digital media, publishing, or content-driven platforms.

• Portfolio showcasing previous projects in web design and front-end development is required.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.

• Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Occasional availability may be required during major news events or product launches.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong eye for detail and passion for clean, user-friendly design.

• Ability to balance creativity with functionality in a fast-paced digital environment.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or custom CMS).

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies.

• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
