Job Summary

OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Uniform and Gear Coordinator to join our supply chain support team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, distributing, and maintaining all uniforms and equipment for our cruise staff, ensuring every crew member has the necessary apparel and gear to perform their duties efficiently and safely. You will act as a critical link between procurement, inventory management, and onboard operations, guaranteeing a smooth and timely supply chain process that upholds our high standards of professionalism and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of uniforms, safety gear, and operational equipment for all cruise staff.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and forecast future requirements to avoid shortages or excess.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of uniforms and gear, meeting quality standards.

  • Prepare and issue uniforms and equipment to new hires, returning staff, and replacement needs.

  • Inspect received items for quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.

  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure staff uniforms align with roles, ranks, and operational needs.

  • Implement efficient storage, organization, and labeling systems to optimize warehouse or supply room operations.

  • Assist in budget planning and cost management for uniform and equipment procurement.

  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, supply chain challenges, and operational metrics.

  • Provide guidance and support to onboard staff regarding proper usage, care, and maintenance of uniforms and gear.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with vendors and internal teams.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of uniform standards, safety requirements, and operational protocols is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or uniform coordination, preferably in the hospitality, maritime, or service industry.

  • Experience in managing large-scale uniform or equipment distribution is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible hours to meet operational demands.

  • Availability may include evenings or weekends depending on supply schedules and onboard deployment needs.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
