Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and user-focused User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our remote FinServ (Financial Services) product team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points through rigorous research methodologies. You will work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that our financial platforms deliver intuitive, accessible, and data-driven user experiences.
As a UX Researcher, you will play a strategic role in shaping product direction by translating complex user insights into actionable recommendations that directly influence design and business decisions across our digital financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies (interviews, usability testing, surveys, field studies, diary studies).

Develop research strategies aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps.

Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify usability issues, user needs, and opportunities for improvement.

Create research artifacts such as personas, journey maps, user flows, and experience frameworks.

Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate insights into design and development processes.

Present research findings in clear, compelling ways to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Advocate for user-centered design principles across all stages of product development.

Continuously measure and evaluate user experience using metrics such as usability scores, task success rates, and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and best practices.

Proficiency in research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Maze, Hotjar, Lookback, or similar.

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SPSS, R, Tableau, or similar).

Ability to translate research insights into practical design and product recommendations.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

High level of attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Design, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in financial services, fintech, or enterprise SaaS environments.

Proven experience conducting end-to-end research projects independently.

Experience working in agile or product-driven environments.

Prior exposure to regulated industries (banking, insurance, payments) is highly desirable.
Working Hours
