Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled and certified Virtual Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms. Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and automation.

Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operations workflows.

Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Implement cloud security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.

Troubleshoot cloud and infrastructure-related issues, providing timely resolutions.

Participate in performance tuning, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Maintain documentation for system architecture, procedures, and configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (required).

Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) and Azure (VMs, Blob Storage, AKS, Functions).

Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

Expertise in automation scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker container management.

Strong grasp of networking, DNS, VPNs, load balancers, and security groups in cloud environments.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience

Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.

Proven experience in deploying and maintaining production-grade cloud systems in AWS or Azure environments.

Previous experience working in agile teams and remote environments preferred.
