Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Virtual Data Scientist with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy NLP models and Generative AI solutions to solve complex business challenges.
- Analyze large and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights and create predictive models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Conduct rigorous evaluation, testing, and optimization of AI models for accuracy, scalability, and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest AI research, tools, and frameworks, particularly in NLP and generative models.
- Create detailed documentation and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and AI enthusiasts within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Deep understanding of NLP techniques (e.g., sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, summarization) and Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Transformers, Diffusion Models).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
- Ability to work with large datasets using SQL, Pandas, or Spark.
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and applied machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data science or AI-focused roles, with hands-on expertise in NLP and Generative AI.
- Proven track record of deploying AI solutions in a business or research setting.
- Prior experience with cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is highly desirable.
Working Hours
- Full-time remote role with flexible working hours.
- Availability for occasional meetings across time zones as required.
