Job Summary
DataEase Virtual is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual FP&A Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing actionable financial insights, driving business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasts, and dashboards using Power BI to support business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy of financial insights.
- Assist in budgeting, planning, and variance analysis to guide operational and strategic initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support key business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline financial processes.
- Present insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CFA, or relevant certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, SQL, and data visualization tools is a plus.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business intelligence roles.
- Experience in a virtual or remote work environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Working Hours
- Standard remote working hours with flexibility to accommodate collaboration across different time zones.
- Occasional meetings with management may require schedule adjustments.
