Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Grant Proposal Writer to support nonprofit organizations in securing funding through well-crafted and persuasive grant proposals. This is a fully remote role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about social impact and have a strong background in nonprofit fundraising and proposal writing. The candidate will work closely with program teams to develop compelling proposals that clearly articulate organizational goals, objectives, and the impact of potential funding.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent research and writing skills, and possesses a proven ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to meaningful causes.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify funding opportunities, including government grants, private foundations, and corporate sponsorships.

• Develop and write high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.

• Collaborate with nonprofit teams to gather programmatic and financial information for proposals.

• Ensure all proposals align with funder requirements, deadlines, and organizational goals.

• Review and edit proposals for clarity, grammar, and compliance.

• Maintain a tracking system for grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.

• Provide strategic guidance to enhance the organization's fundraising efforts.

• Support reporting requirements for successfully awarded grants.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Proven experience writing successful grant proposals for nonprofit organizations.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Strong research and analytical abilities to identify funding opportunities.

• Familiarity with grant management software and online submission platforms.

• Ability to translate complex organizational activities into compelling narratives.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in grant writing or nonprofit fundraising.

• Demonstrated track record of successful grant applications and awards.

• Experience working with diverse teams and remotely in a virtual environment.

Working Hours

• This is a remote, flexible position.

• Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, but flexibility is allowed based on deadlines and project needs.

• Deep understanding of nonprofit operations, funding cycles, and grant-making processes.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
