Job Summary
Edgenuity (Imagine Learning) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual Math Intervention Specialist (Grades 6–12) to join our team of educators delivering high-quality online learning experiences to students across the nation. In this role, you will provide targeted math instruction, intervention, and support to students in middle and high school, helping them master key mathematical concepts and bridge learning gaps. The ideal candidate is a certified math educator who excels in virtual instruction, student engagement, and data-driven teaching strategies.
This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a measurable difference in students’ academic success.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver live virtual math lessons, small group sessions, and one-on-one interventions tailored to student needs.

Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, using data to drive instructional decisions.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized learning plans and ensure academic growth.

Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying student abilities and learning styles.

Monitor and report student attendance, engagement, and achievement metrics using Edgenuity’s online learning platform.

Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to encourage persistence and mastery.

Maintain accurate student records and adhere to school policies, curriculum standards, and compliance requirements.

Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings to enhance instructional effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics (Grades 6–12).

Proven experience teaching math online or in a blended learning environment.

Strong understanding of Common Core and/or state-specific math standards.

Excellent communication, presentation, and virtual classroom management skills.

Proficiency in using EdTech platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and Edgenuity Learning Suite.

Ability to motivate and engage students in an online setting through creative teaching techniques.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance reports and adapt instruction accordingly.
Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of classroom or online teaching experience in secondary-level mathematics.

Experience providing academic interventions, tutoring, or differentiated instruction for struggling learners preferred.

Familiarity with digital learning tools, student information systems, and virtual learning environments is a strong advantage.
Working Hours
