Job Summary
The American Red Cross is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Front Office Specialist to join our healthcare operations team. This fully remote role focuses primarily on scheduling and patient coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient management of appointments, follow-ups, and patient inquiries. Key Responsibilities

Manage patient scheduling across multiple departments, ensuring optimal appointment flow and minimal scheduling conflicts.

Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, or online portal.

Confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments as necessary, keeping accurate records in electronic health systems.

Collaborate with clinical staff and administrative teams to coordinate patient care and streamline workflow.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Assist patients with registration, intake forms, and insurance verification when needed.

Track and report appointment trends, no-shows, and follow-up requirements to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.

Experience

Working Hours
