Job Summary
Axis Bank is inviting applications for the role of Virtual Phone Banking Officer under its Female Only Program, a unique initiative aimed at empowering women professionals to build successful banking careers in a flexible and digitally enabled environment. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to banking products and services
- Provide accurate information and effective solutions to customer queries and complaints
- Assist customers with account-related services, digital banking, cards, loans, and basic transactions
- Promote Axis Bank’s products and services through need-based conversations
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by adhering to service quality standards
- Maintain proper documentation and update customer records in banking systems
- Comply with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and data security norms
- Achieve individual and team performance metrics related to service quality and productivity
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and regional language(s)
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services
- Comfortable using computers, CRM tools, and digital platforms
- Ability to handle customer interactions professionally and empathetically
Experience
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in customer service, call center, telecalling, or banking roles will be an added advantage
- Candidates with experience in virtual or phone-based customer support will be preferred
Working Hours
- Full-time role with rotational shifts as per business requirements
- Weekly offs as per Axis Bank policy
- Work-from-office or virtual setup depending on operational needs
