Vedantu Innovations is seeking an enthusiastic and child-centric Virtual Phonics Teacher to deliver engaging, interactive online phonics sessions for young learners aged 4–8. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and phonics instruction, along with the ability to create a fun, supportive virtual classroom environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality virtual phonics lessons tailored to early learners.

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on reading readiness and pronunciation.

• Use interactive tools, games, and visual aids to maintain student engagement.

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents/guardians.

• Maintain accurate attendance, performance records, and lesson reports.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging online classroom atmosphere.

• Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve curriculum delivery.

• Adhere to company teaching standards and child safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Early Childhood Education, or related field.

• Certification or formal training in phonics (e.g., Jolly Phonics, synthetic phonics) preferred.

• Excellent spoken English with clear pronunciation and neutral accent.

• Strong online teaching and classroom management skills.

• Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

• Creative mindset with the ability to make learning fun for young children.

• Patient, energetic, and child-friendly personality.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching phonics or early literacy to young learners.

• Prior online teaching experience is highly desirable.

• Experience working with children aged 4–8 is strongly preferred.

• Freshers with strong phonics certification and demo excellence may be considered.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote schedule with peak hours typically in the evenings and weekends.
