Job Summary

Axis Bank is seeking a proactive and customer-focused WBO MWBC Customer Service Officer (CA & CMS) to support the bank’s Wholesale Banking Operations (WBO) and Mid & Large Business (MWBC) segments. This role is critical in ensuring seamless customer servicing, operational excellence, and compliance in handling Current Accounts (CA) and Cash Management Services (CMS). The incumbent will act as a key liaison between clients, relationship teams, and internal operations to deliver a superior banking experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day customer service operations for CA & CMS clients within the MWBC portfolio.
  • Handle account opening, documentation, KYC compliance, and periodic reviews as per regulatory norms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of CMS solutions such as collections, payments, and reconciliation services.
  • Resolve customer queries, service requests, and complaints within defined TATs.
  • Ensure accuracy in transaction processing, reporting, and operational controls.
  • Support Relationship Managers by providing operational and service-related assistance to strengthen client relationships.
  • Monitor adherence to bank policies, RBI guidelines, and internal risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify service improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of banking operations, especially Current Accounts and Cash Management Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with core banking systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in banking operations, customer service, or wholesale/transaction banking.
  • Prior exposure to CA, CMS, or corporate banking operations will be an added advantage.
  • Freshers with relevant internships or strong academic exposure to banking and finance may also be considered, depending on business requirements.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role, typically aligned with standard banking hours.
  • Extended hours may be required during peak business periods or critical operational timelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of RBI regulations, KYC/AML norms, and banking compliance standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Capability to handle confidential customer information with integrity and professionalism.
