Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Web Accessibility Specialist to join our growing digital compliance and user experience team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive accessibility audits across a wide range of digital platforms, ensuring that websites and applications meet international accessibility standards and deliver inclusive user experiences.

As a key contributor, you will partner with designers, developers, product managers, and compliance stakeholders to identify accessibility barriers, provide actionable remediation guidance, and support the creation of accessible, user-centered digital solutions. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about digital inclusion, usability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end accessibility audits for websites, web applications, and digital products.

  • Evaluate digital assets against WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines, ADA, Section 508, and EN 301 549 standards.

  • Use automated and manual testing tools to identify accessibility issues.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with prioritized recommendations and remediation steps.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to implement accessibility improvements.

  • Perform usability testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard navigation.

  • Advise internal teams on best practices for accessible design and development.

  • Stay up to date with evolving accessibility regulations and industry trends.

  • Support clients during compliance assessments and accessibility certifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and inclusive design.

  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards and global accessibility regulations.

  • Proficiency with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.

  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA roles.

  • Ability to interpret technical findings and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

  • 2–5+ years of experience in web accessibility, QA, UX, or digital compliance roles.

  • Proven experience conducting accessibility audits for enterprise-level or high-traffic websites.

  • Experience working in Agile or cross-functional digital teams is highly preferred.

  • Relevant certifications such as CPACC, WAS, or DHS Trusted Tester are a plus.

Working Hours

  • Fully remote role with flexible working hours.

  • Standard working schedule aligned with core business hours (Monday to Friday).

  • Occasional overlap with global teams may be required.
