Job Summary
Little Angels Agency is seeking a compassionate and responsible Weekend Babysitter/Nanny to provide after-school care for children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy supporting children’s growth and development, fostering a positive atmosphere, and assisting with homework, meals, and recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, enthusiastic, and capable of managing multiple tasks while ensuring the children’s safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during after-school hours on weekends.

Assist children with homework, reading, and educational activities.

Organize age-appropriate games, creative activities, and recreational play.

Prepare and serve healthy snacks or meals as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s activities, progress, and any concerns.

Address minor behavioral challenges with patience and positive reinforcement.

Provide first aid in case of minor injuries and report any incidents immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in childcare or early childhood education preferred.

Proven experience in babysitting or nanny roles, preferably with school-age children.

Ability to plan and organize activities that are engaging and educational.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.

Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid procedures.
Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children in a babysitting, nanny, or childcare setting.

Experience with homework assistance and after-school activity planning is highly desirable.
Working Hours

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

After-school hours: typically 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (flexibility may be required based on family needs)
