Job Summary
Trusting Hands Nannies is seeking a compassionate and reliable Weekend Childcare Provider to care for infants and toddlers in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting a child’s emotional, social, and physical development while providing a fun, educational, and structured experience. This position offers flexible weekend hours, allowing caregivers to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while supporting families in our community.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of infants and toddlers at all times.

Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including play, storytelling, arts, and learning exercises.

Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting routines for infants and toddlers.

Monitor children’s behavior, providing gentle guidance and promoting positive social interactions.

Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children.

Follow all Trusting Hands Nannies policies and procedures regarding childcare and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or home setting.

Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.

Strong communication skills with both children and parents.

Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

Trustworthy, reliable, and able to pass background checks.
Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in childcare, nannying, or early childhood education preferred.

Experience with multiple children and infants/toddlers is highly valued.
Working Hours

Weekend shifts: Saturdays and Sundays.

Flexible scheduling available, with potential for additional hours based on family needs.

Shift duration: Typically 4–8 hours per day.
