Job Summary

SafeNest Nanny Network is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Weekend Nanny to provide dedicated care for twin toddlers. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and safe environment, support developmental milestones, and engage the children in age-appropriate activities while providing peace of mind to parents. This is a weekend position, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on childcare and building strong connections with young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care and supervision to twin toddlers during weekend hours.

  • Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational exercises, and creative arts and crafts.

  • Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring adherence to any dietary restrictions or preferences.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including tidying up toys and play areas.

  • Manage nap schedules, routines, and bedtime as appropriate.

  • Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play and structured activities.

  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding daily routines, milestones, and any concerns.

  • Assist with basic hygiene needs, including diaper changes, potty training, and dressing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience caring for toddlers, preferably twins or multiples.

  • Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.

  • Ability to manage multiple children simultaneously with attentiveness and care.

  • Reliable and punctual with a professional approach to childcare.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional childcare experience, ideally with toddlers.

  • Experience managing twin children or siblings is highly advantageous.

  • Background in early childhood education or relevant certifications is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday.

  • Flexible start and end times may be discussed, typically 8–10 hours per day.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, meals, and playtime.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

  • Creativity in developing fun, educational, and stimulating activities.

  • Ability to follow parent instructions and routines carefully.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and first aid for young children.
