Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our remote team, focusing on implementing and optimizing Zero Trust security frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing enterprise environments, guiding clients through strategic cybersecurity initiatives, and ensuring that our systems and those of our clients meet the highest standards of security and compliance. This role combines technical expertise, strategic advisory skills, and hands-on implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zero Trust architectures for enterprise clients.
• Conduct security assessments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, and infrastructure teams to integrate security policies across systems, networks, and applications.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats using advanced tools and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical guidelines.
• Provide training and guidance to client teams on Zero Trust principles and cybersecurity best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively strengthen defenses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in Zero Trust implementation, identity and access management, and network segmentation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies including firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, MFA, VPNs, and IAM solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or related roles.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing Zero Trust frameworks in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Experience in leading security projects and guiding cross-functional teams.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
• Must be available for coordination across different time zones as needed.
• Occasional virtual meetings with clients during standard business hours.

• Deep understanding of modern cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
