Job Summary:
DataEase Virtual is seeking an experienced UX Design Lead with a strong focus on mobile accessibility to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of user-centric, accessible mobile experiences that meet WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and content strategists to ensure that accessibility is seamlessly integrated into all digital products, driving inclusive design for all users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design strategy for mobile applications, prioritizing accessibility and compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
- Conduct accessibility audits and usability testing for mobile interfaces to ensure compliance and optimize user experience.
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible designs.
- Mentor and guide junior UX/UI designers on best practices in accessibility and inclusive design.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems tailored for mobile accessibility.
- Advocate for accessibility throughout the product lifecycle, providing actionable recommendations to enhance inclusivity.
- Stay current with emerging trends in UX design, mobile accessibility, and assistive technologies.
- Analyze user feedback, behavior, and analytics to iterate and improve mobile accessibility features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile UX design expertise with a focus on accessibility.
- In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 standards, assistive technologies, and accessibility testing tools.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Understanding of mobile design patterns, responsive design, and user-centered design principles.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and accessibility considerations.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of UX design experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience designing mobile applications with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
- Experience conducting usability testing and accessibility audits on mobile platforms.
Working Hours:
- Fully remote with flexible working hours.
- Ability to overlap with core team hours (typically 9 AM – 5 PM in your respective time zone).
- Occasional meetings across global time zones may be required.
