As a Veterinary Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting pet parents with their veterinary-related inquiries, guiding them through Chewy’s pet health offerings, and ensuring they have the best possible experience when managing their pets’ wellness. This role is ideal for those who have a veterinary background or deep knowledge of animal health and are looking to combine their expertise with exceptional customer service in a work-from-home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding veterinary products, prescriptions, and pet health services via phone, email, and chat.

  • Provide accurate, compassionate, and timely information to support pet parents in making informed decisions.

  • Assist with order management, prescription verifications, and coordination with veterinary professionals.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns related to pet health and wellness services.

  • Educate customers on Chewy’s range of veterinary products and resources, ensuring clarity and trust.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the support system.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacy, logistics, and customer care, to deliver a seamless experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary practices, pet medications, and wellness products.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate approach.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and multitasking across multiple platforms.

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in veterinary care, customer support, or a related field strongly preferred.

  • Experience handling veterinary prescriptions, pharmacy support, or working in a veterinary clinic is a plus.

  • Freshers with a veterinary educational background may also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote schedules available, with coverage required across evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

  • Shifts may vary depending on business requirements.
