Job Summary
Cruise Ship Jobs is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Staff / Kid’s Club Coordinator to join our onboard entertainment team. This role focuses on delivering safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for children and junior guests, ensuring families have a delightful cruise experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, creative in activity planning, and capable of maintaining a safe, friendly, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children and junior guests.

Supervise and engage with children in the Kid’s Club, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.

Maintain positive communication with parents, updating them on their child’s participation and progress.

Collaborate with the onboard entertainment and hospitality team to integrate youth programs with overall cruise activities.

Monitor and manage group dynamics, addressing behavioral issues respectfully and effectively.

Prepare activity materials, games, and resources in advance.

Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to all cruise line child protection and health regulations.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and feedback initiatives to continually improve youth programming.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children of varying ages.

Ability to plan and execute structured activities, games, and arts & crafts.

Patience, adaptability, and creativity in managing diverse groups of children.

Basic first aid knowledge and emergency response capability.

Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Certification in childcare, education, or a related field is preferred.
Experience

Previous experience working with children in a daycare, school, camp, or recreational program is highly desirable.

Experience in a hospitality, cruise, or customer-focused environment is an advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time onboard role with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on cruise itineraries.

May require participation in special events, excursions, and themed activities outside standard working hours.
