Job Summary

OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and highly organized Call Centre Executive to support our cruise recruitment and crew operations team. The selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for prospective cruise staff, existing applicants, and recruitment partners. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving candidate inquiries, scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant communication records, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication abilities, excellent telephone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced recruitment environment. This role is essential in helping build world-class cruise teams through effective candidate coordination and communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to cruise job vacancies, application updates, and interview coordination.
  • Provide accurate information regarding job openings, eligibility criteria, required documentation, and recruitment timelines.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and recruitment managers across multiple departments.
  • Confirm interview appointments through calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
  • Update candidate records in recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems.
  • Follow up with candidates regarding missing documents or interview feedback.
  • Escalate complex inquiries to the relevant recruitment or HR department.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling candidate information.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and seasonal hiring drives.
  • Prepare daily call reports, candidate status updates, and scheduling summaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good telephone handling and active listening abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple candidate interactions efficiently.
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in call centre operations, recruitment support, customer service, or administrative coordination.
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, cruise recruitment, or manpower consultancy is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with exceptional communication skills may also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • 8 to 9 working hours per day.
  • 5 to 6 working days per week depending on recruitment season.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evening or weekend schedules when required for international candidate coordination.

  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and interview scheduling procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate recruitment records and call logs.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with applicants from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software is preferred.
