Job Summary

Bechtel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our onsite team as a Site Manager. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction site operations and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and subcontractor teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contracts.
Manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders.
Support cost control, budgeting, and resource allocation activities.
Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions in real-time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience

Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in construction project engineering or site management.
Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
Experience working in multinational or large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) environments is preferred.

Working Hours

Full-time, onsite role.
Standard working hours with flexibility required based on project demands.
Occasional extended hours, weekend work, or shift work may be necessary to meet project milestones.
