Job Summary
OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cruise Ship Staff Recruitment Coordinator – Maritime Hiring Office to support the recruitment, onboarding, and staffing operations for our growing fleet. This role is responsible for identifying qualified maritime and hospitality professionals, coordinating interviews, managing candidate documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between hiring managers, recruitment partners, and prospective employees.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, recruitment knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring vessels are staffed with talented and service-focused professionals who meet operational and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for cruise ship positions across hospitality, technical, housekeeping, entertainment, and marine departments.

Review resumes, applications, certifications, and employment documents for compliance and eligibility.

Schedule interviews between candidates and department hiring managers.

Communicate with applicants regarding application status, interview schedules, and onboarding requirements.

Maintain recruitment databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate records.

Verify maritime certifications, travel documents, visas, and medical clearances.

Coordinate with training departments for orientation and onboarding sessions.

Work with international recruitment agencies and staffing partners.

Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, and workforce planning documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime labor standards, and international employment regulations.

Assist in organizing recruitment drives, job fairs, and virtual hiring events.

Support crew deployment planning and contract preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

Professional certification in HR or recruitment is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment software systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee and applicant records.

Understanding of international hiring procedures is preferred.
Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, HR coordination, crew staffing, or talent acquisition.

Previous experience in cruise lines, maritime staffing, hospitality recruitment, or international workforce management is highly preferred.

Experience working with multicultural teams and international candidates is considered an advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time position.

Typically 40–48 hours per week, depending on recruitment cycles and operational demands.

Flexibility to coordinate with candidates across multiple international time zones.

Occasional weekend or evening work may be required during major hiring campaigns.
