Job Description

Job Summary

SoftHelp Desk is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Relations Officer to join our remote support team. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the company’s commitment to excellence.

As a Customer Relations Officer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing product or service guidance through various communication channels including email, chat, phone, and online platforms. You will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, loyalty, and brand reputation while supporting the company’s operational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound customer communications through phone, email, live chat, and social platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering personalized support.
  • Resolve customer complaints, concerns, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and case resolutions in CRM systems.
  • Provide customers with detailed information regarding company products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve service-related issues and improve customer experience.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been fully resolved.
  • Assist in customer retention strategies and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Support management by preparing customer service reports and performance insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, client relations, call center operations, or support roles is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, email systems, and online communication tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office or similar business applications.

Experience

  • Entry-level candidates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, client management, or related roles is preferred.
  • Experience working remotely or in a virtual customer support environment is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time remote position.
  • Flexible scheduling options may be available based on business requirements.
  • Standard workweek of 40 hours.
  • May require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday availability depending on customer support demands.
