Job Summary
SecureTech Philippines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our digital infrastructure and protect sensitive data from evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of organizational systems and information.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor security systems and networks for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and breaches.

Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including threat containment and remediation.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks.

Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.

Analyze security logs and reports to detect patterns and anomalies.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture and configurations.

Develop and update security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS controls.

Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, firewalls).

Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.

Proven experience in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.

Experience working in enterprise-level IT environments is an advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time position.

Flexible working hours with potential shift rotations to support 24/7 security monitoring.

On-call availability may be required for critical incident response.
