Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a creative and detail-oriented E-learning Instructional Designer to join our remote team supporting higher education clients. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance engaging digital learning experiences that improve student outcomes and support modern academic delivery. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, faculty members, and multimedia teams to create interactive, accessible, and pedagogically sound online courses.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality e-learning courses for higher education programs
Collaborate with faculty, subject matter experts (SMEs), and academic stakeholders to gather content requirements
Create storyboards, instructional flow, and learning modules aligned with learning objectives
Develop interactive content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE and Bloom’s Taxonomy
Ensure content is accessible, engaging, and optimized for online delivery
Integrate multimedia elements such as videos, quizzes, simulations, and assessments
Review and revise course materials based on feedback and learner performance data
Maintain consistency in instructional quality and branding standards
Stay updated on emerging trends in digital learning and educational technology

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or related field
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
Proficiency in e-learning development tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.)
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard
Strong visual design sense and ability to create engaging learning experiences
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience

2–5 years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development
Prior experience working with higher education institutions is highly preferred
Portfolio showcasing e-learning modules or instructional projects is required

Working Hours

Full-time remote position
Flexible working hours with expected overlap for team collaboration (typically 4–6 hours aligned with core business hours)
May require occasional meetings with international stakeholders

Deep understanding of learner-centered design approaches
Ability to translate complex academic content into clear, engaging learning materials
Strong analytical skills to evaluate learning effectiveness
Proficiency in storyboarding and curriculum structuring
