Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FinTech Compliance Officer to join our remote team. This role is critical in ensuring that our financial technology operations remain fully compliant with UK regulatory standards, including FCA guidelines, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and data protection laws. The ideal candidate will act as a key guardian of compliance integrity, supporting business growth while maintaining the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with UK financial regulations (FCA, AML, GDPR, and related frameworks)
Conduct regular internal audits and compliance risk assessments across fintech operations
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
Review and assess new financial products and services for regulatory compliance
Investigate compliance breaches and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans
Collaborate with legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices
Provide compliance training and guidance to internal teams
Liaise with external regulators and auditors when required

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance frameworks
Knowledge of FCA rules, AML/KYC standards, and GDPR requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
High attention to detail and strong ethical judgment
Proficiency in compliance tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles within fintech, banking, or financial services
Prior experience working with remote or distributed teams is preferred
Experience dealing with regulatory bodies in the UK financial sector is highly desirable

Working Hours

Full-time remote position
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (UK time)
Flexibility may be required during regulatory deadlines or audits
