Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Fractional CFO to partner with high-growth startups and scaling businesses. This remote role is designed for a finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can provide executive-level financial guidance on a flexible basis. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to founders and leadership teams, driving financial strategy, optimizing performance, and supporting sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to startup founders and executive teams
Develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and long-term growth strategies
Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability
Support fundraising efforts, including investor presentations, financial due diligence, and valuation strategies
Establish and optimize financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven improvements
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
Deep understanding of startup ecosystems, venture capital, and scaling businesses
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Advanced proficiency in financial tools, spreadsheets, and accounting software
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Experience

Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior financial consultant
Experience working with startups, SaaS companies, or high-growth businesses is highly desirable
Prior experience in fractional or consulting roles is an added advantage

Working Hours

Fully remote position with flexible working hours
Availability for regular virtual meetings across different time zones
Ability to commit to agreed deliverables and timelines
