Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join our hospitality team in Singapore. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the hospitality and tourism industry, with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using hotel management systems.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details.
  • Process payments, invoices, and maintain cash handling procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Internship or training experience in hotels or tourism-related roles will be beneficial.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts, including day, evening, night, weekends, and public holidays.
