Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Independent SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund) Auditor to join our growing remote finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent audits of SMSFs in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining the highest level of integrity and independence. Key Responsibilities

Perform independent audits of Self-Managed Super Funds in accordance with applicable regulations and auditing standards

Review financial statements, compliance documentation, and fund transactions for accuracy and legality

Identify and report audit findings, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues

Prepare clear, concise, and compliant audit reports

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices

Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and internal stakeholders as required

Ensure all audits are completed within deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Uphold strict independence and confidentiality throughout the audit process
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Registered SMSF Auditor (or equivalent certification as per regulatory requirements)

Strong understanding of SMSF regulations and compliance frameworks

Proficiency in auditing software and financial reporting tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SMSF auditing or a similar audit role

Proven track record of conducting independent audits within regulatory frameworks

Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is an advantage
Working Hours

Fully remote position with flexible working hours
