Job Description

Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Data Entry Clerk to join our remote workforce. This role is ideal for individuals who are meticulous with data, have a strong understanding of legal terminology, and are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced virtual environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining legal data and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain legal data in company systems and databases
  • Review legal documents such as contracts, case files, affidavits, and agreements for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify data by comparing it with source documents and correct any discrepancies
  • Organize and categorize legal information for easy retrieval and reporting
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal information
  • Collaborate with legal teams and administrative staff to ensure data accuracy
  • Perform routine quality checks and audits on entered data
  • Generate reports and summaries as required by management

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred)
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology and documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and data management tools
  • Excellent typing speed with high accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience

  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a legal or administrative setting
  • Prior experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment is an advantage
  • Familiarity with legal software or case management systems is a plus
