Job Summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mac OS X Help Desk Engineer to join our remote support team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional technical assistance to customers and internal users, ensuring seamless performance of macOS systems and related Apple services. As a key member of the support function, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues while maintaining Apple’s high standards of customer satisfaction and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support for macOS systems, Apple hardware, and associated applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, software installations, network connectivity, and device performance.
  • Handle customer queries via phone, chat, or email with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions and educate them on best practices.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Apple technologies, updates, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes and user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of macOS (Mac OS X) environments and Apple ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with iOS devices, Apple ID, iCloud, and device synchronization.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues remotely.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Certification such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) is a plus.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or customer support roles.
  • Prior experience supporting macOS or Apple products is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a remote support environment will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible work-from-home schedule.
