Job Summary
Cyberoid Academy is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Online Japanese Language Trainer (Part-Time) to join our growing academic team. We are looking for an experienced language professional who can deliver high-quality online Japanese language instruction to students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, deep knowledge of Japanese language instruction methodologies, and the ability to create an interactive virtual learning environment. This role is perfect for educators who are passionate about language teaching and committed to helping learners achieve fluency, confidence, and cultural understanding.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver live online Japanese language classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners.

Design and prepare lesson plans aligned with learning objectives and student proficiency levels.

Teach essential language components including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Introduce students to Japanese culture, traditions, business etiquette, and practical communication styles.

Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, oral evaluations, and feedback sessions.

Customize teaching strategies based on individual student learning needs and goals.

Provide study materials, worksheets, presentations, and supplementary learning resources.

Monitor attendance, participation, and academic performance of learners.

Maintain accurate student records and submit progress reports when required.

Stay updated with modern language teaching techniques and online learning technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, Education, Literature, or a related discipline.

Japanese Language Proficiency certification such as Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2, N1, or equivalent preferred.

Excellent command of both Japanese and English languages.

Strong understanding of Japanese grammar, sentence structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms and digital classroom tools.

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
Experience
-
Minimum 1–3 years of experience teaching Japanese language, either online or offline.

Experience in teaching students from academic, corporate, or professional backgrounds is preferred.

Prior experience preparing students for JLPT examinations is an added advantage.

Experience in curriculum development or personalized coaching will be beneficial.
Working Hours

Part-Time position with flexible scheduling.

Availability for 2–5 hours per day, depending on batch assignments.

Weekend and evening availability may be required based on student schedules.
